What each request status means

Request statuses show where the full request is in the collection workflow.

Draft

The request has been created but has not been sent yet. Draft requests can be edited, sent, or deleted.

Sent

The request has been sent to the selected client contact and the client portal link is active. If the client submits an item, the request moves to In Progress.

In Progress

The client has started submitting files or notes. The request is still open.

Completed

Your firm marked the request complete. CrankHQ records the completion time and sends completion emails to the requestor and the client contact when those email addresses are available.

Cancelled

The request has been cancelled. Cancelled requests are not treated as active and the client portal blocks access.
