Use Portal preview before sending a request

What Portal preview does

On a request detail page, the Portal preview button opens the secure request page in a new browser tab. This lets you see the request the way the client will see it.

What to check

• The request title and close period.
• The due date, if one is set.
• Each requested item title.
• Each item description.
• Whether the request message makes sense for the client.

Important note

The preview uses the same secure request page clients use. Avoid submitting files or notes from the preview unless you intentionally want to update the request.
