Client guide: request a secure drop-off link

How clients request access to the secure document drop-off page.

What the drop-off request page does

The secure document drop-off request page asks for an email address. CrankHQ sends a secure upload link if that email address is connected to a client portal.

Request a link

  1. Open the secure document drop-off page.
  2. Enter your email address.
  3. Select Send secure link.
  4. Check your email for the upload link.

What the confirmation means

After you submit the form, CrankHQ shows this message: “Check your email. If this address is connected to a client portal, you’ll receive a secure link shortly.”

If you do not receive a link

Make sure you used the same email address your accountant or bookkeeper has on file. If you are still stuck, contact the firm that asked you to upload documents.
