Choose a storage preference during workspace setup

Understand the storage choice shown during initial workspace setup.

Where this appears

During initial workspace setup, CrankHQ asks for your workspace name, billing email, and default storage preference.

Storage options

  • Use Crank-hosted storage is meant for getting started quickly. The setup screen says your trial includes hosted storage so you can send requests right away.
  • Connect external storage later is for teams that plan to connect Zoho WorkDrive, Google Drive, Dropbox, or S3 after setup.

Can this be changed later?

The setup screen says you can change these details later. Storage integrations are managed from Settings, then Integrations.

What happens after setup

When you finish setup, CrankHQ marks the setup as complete and sends you to the dashboard for your workspace.
